Do I need a doctor’s referral to receive treatment?

No, in the state of Pennsylvania we are a direct access state. This means you can be seen by a therapist without a referral. We encourage calling us immediately if you are experiencing an injury and we can see if you are a candidate for physical therapy.

Do you take insurance?

We understand that dealing with insurance can be complicated; therefore, A3 Physical Therapy would gladly assist you and answer your questions. It is essential to contact your insurance carrier to determine your coverage.  For your convenience, we provide a variety of payment alternatives.

What can I expect from my first visit?

Everyone is unique.  We will spend time listening to your story, getting to know you, your concerns and goals.  We will assess the whole body and not just the painful areas. We want to determine the root cause of your symptoms.  More often than not, the pain is not the underlying issue. From there we will devise a treatment plan to provide optimal pain relief, get you stronger and get you back to the things you love.
